IBU-Cup Biathlon

The IBU-Cup Biathlon is the new competition series introduced in the season 2008/2009. Due to the big success of the iathlon sport during the last years, the International Biathlon Union IBU introduced this series instead of the former European Cup.
The IBU-Cup is a kind of B-World Cup and the best athletes of the IBU-Cup competitions of the season have the right to start in the World Cup.

In Martell the 7th IBU Cup of the season 2009/2010 will take place. At the competitons in Martell there are expected to participate more than 250 athletes from 30 countries.
